Thank you for considering Bonsai to handle your search needs. As you may know, we are a small, sustainable, bootstrapped business and we are committed to providing you with secure, stable and scalable search products over the long term.

We are adjusting & smoothing out our plan pricing

We have long offered some of the most competitive rates at the lower end for the simplest search use cases, starting with our free Hobby plan, and scaling upward as your needs grow.

We have heard feedback that the price for the “next plan up” was often a big jump, and didn’t necessarily make sense for your business needs. We have reviewed all of our plans, and we are happy to announce that we are offering new price points that will better fit your growing business and search needs:

New operational fees for older search engine versions

In addition to our expert support, our vigilant 24/7 response to keep your search clusters healthy, and our tireless efforts to keep our products up to date with the search offerings that you need for your business, we try to provide much more flexibility than the major infrastructure providers.

Instead of forcing you to upgrade when new major search engine versions are released, we have always supported the major search engine versions that you depend on. In order to continue this unique support, we will be adding an operational fee based on how many major versions behind your clusters might be.

This will enable us to ensure that we can continue to support these older versions, and will give your business the time it needs to decide when to upgrade to a new major version.
